We collaborate with the National Institute for Minorities and Health Disparities to develop intelligent technologies that facilitate health care delivery in rural hospitals.

The mission of NIMHD is to lead scientific research to improve minority health and eliminate health disparities. To accomplish this, NIMHD:

  • Conducts and supports research in minority health and health disparities
  • Promotes and supports the training of a diverse research workforce
  • Translates and disseminates research information

We collaborate with the college of engineering at Oregon State University to develop intelligent medical devices, and health information system.

We collaborate with the New England Center for Emergency Preparedness at Dartmouth College to develop and test mobile training technologies for emergency responders and planners.
